每一個學期都是嶄新的開始,在備課日找導師訪談的結果發現,這批學生有幾個學生有自閉症的傾向。所以想說在開學時跟學生分享有關於自閉症的繪本。希望透過繪本介紹,能夠讓學生更加了解自閉症,建立從了解理解到同理心的過程 。
在美國認識了特教專業的教授,她引領我看了很多關於特教的繪本,剛好可以拿來當成教材。謝謝您

使用時機 : 如果學校開學有特教週宣導,可以配合學校聯絡教學,但是如果沒有的話,老師也可以利用開學前三週,把上課規矩教好之後,再來上繪本補充。
教學目標: 希望透過繪本學習
自閉症學生的特徵以及徵狀
透過了解﹑啟發學生的同理心,培養學生換為思考的能力
我不會特別強調 AUTISM 的中文,因為我覺得 大家對於中文都有點自己的想法,所以我會從自閉狀的徵兆跟學生做分享。就像是流感或是新冠肺炎,每個都有不同的症狀,透過了解症狀,就可以判定成因等等。
兩堂課 ( 三年級上學期
warm up
look at the book cover and talk about the new word "AUTISM"
teacher uses two photos to discuss about the sign of autism and gets ready for reading the book

Before reading
invite students to observe the picture carefully and use questions to guide students to tell the story
invite students to read out loud with teacher
While reading
teacher will underline some key sentences to make sure the story goes well.
After reading
teacher poses some questions like "Do you have friends like Zack?" "How do you get along with him or her?" "How to get along with the person who has autism?"
"Are you willing to make friends with someone who has autism?"
practice : Dos and DON'Ts
discuss Dos and DON'Ts with students if they had a friend who has autism.
teacher makes a list and writes some key words on the board as the reference for the next activity.

In this activity, students will make a card that tells others how to get along with someone with autism.
they will choose one thing you can do with them and one thing you can't do with them.

invite all students to sit back and share how do they feel about the class?
