我就喜歡這樣的妳

貫徹新北108課綱 英閱繪 的精神，現在遇上節慶的時候，會盡量從繪本的角度切入，今天來介紹感恩節 老師備課時會使用到的繪本。針對中低年級，我會選用 JAMES DEAN 的 PETE THE CAT 系列，他的圖文就是針對小朋友設計的，設計的橋段也可以讓小朋友瞬間理解，本人覺得不錯。針對高年級，我會選用 DIANE ALBER 的 A LITTLE THANKSGIVING SPOT ，這本是今年才出的新書，雖然線上還沒有YOUTUBE 可以看，但是有另外一本類似的 A LITTLE THANKFUL SPOT 可以參考，而且DIANE ALBER 的網站上面還附有學習單，非常適合高年級甚至國中生閱讀。

She's been in Illinois for over 25 years now! A frequent presenter at schools and conferences, Alice was awarded the 2017 Prairie State Award for excellence in writing for children.

Alice loves to hike, play the guitar, dance, and read. She's also a writing teacher and coach, runs a writing camp for teens, is a children's book reviewer for the Champaign-Urbana News Gazette, and is a Regional Adviser Emerita for the Illinois Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

第一堂課 介紹單字 : PICTIONARY BOOK 

 低年級，可以配合簡單的歌曲律動

 三年級簡單介紹單字，幾個DRILL 練習發音流暢度之後，就可以做 PICTIONARY BOOK 。

上次在教萬聖節單字的時候，發下白紙，然後找適合的繪畫頻道，讓他們仿畫，效果還不錯。所以這次感恩節沿用這個活動。

發下一張A4 白紙，說明練習用，請學生自行在上面畫圖，每結束一個視頻，我會在寫英文句子，請他們抄寫在圖旁邊。 

最後留個五分鐘，請同學行間巡視分享，他們看到覺得不錯的同學作品。

第二堂課 繪本介紹  PETE THE CAT : THE FIRST THANKSGIVING 

Before reaqding

invite students to observe the picture carefully and use questions to guide students to tell the story. 

Look at the picture and tell me, " What does Pete look like? " 

Teacher may give some hints to help Ss to connect the story.  

While reading

teacher will umderline some key sentences to make sure the stroy goes well. 

Teacher may pause for a while to guide the students to think, "Why Pilgrams had to leave their country?" 

Listen to students and guide them to talk more about their own experience. 

After reading 

teacher poses some questions like, "Do you have the same experiences like those Pilgrams?" "Tell me some stories that you felt thankful for."

第三堂課  學習單 - 發表 

老師在AFTER READING 時，可以適當連結學生對於生活中人事物感到感謝的生活經驗，連結到 三年級第四課所教的顏色句型。老師可以利用顏色連結感謝的事物，例如: 看到綠色，我想感謝大樹，給我們新鮮的空氣。看到黃色，我想感謝太陽，給予我們溫暖的陽光等等，從實際的物品，再連結到抽象的情感等等。

 高年級可以直接用九宮格引導，請他們寫出或是當他們看到這個顏色或是符號，會感覺到 thanksful 的物品或是事件。接著可以請他們用句子表達出來。
