氣候教育之教師專業發展課程 是台美雙方的環保署合作,由美國方釋出免費線上課程提供給台灣的教育人士參加。課程的主題是氣候教育,裡面包含的climate change 以及如何教授等等,氣候變遷是聯合國 SDGs 的目標之一,活動只到六月底。由於是全英文,然後每個小節都有要回答的問題,要達到一定分數之後,才可以往下進修,所以不是參與就可以拿到的,不過無聊沒事可以練習英文閱讀與小寫作,也是不錯的。

一、環保署因應武漢肺炎防疫需求及提升我國環境教育工作者之知能,在臺美環境教育合作的基礎下,美國國家環境保護署於109年3月24日分享免費線上課程(全英文)
二、課程係配合地球日50週年開發,並提供給我國教育工作者使用,相關訊息如下:
(一)開放時間:自109年3月23日起開放至109年6月關閉。
(二)課程重點:氣候變化和生物多樣性/野生生物,主題包括:地球氣候系統、氣候與天氣、物候學、極端氣候、生物多樣性、土壤、海洋等。
(三)課程完成後,教育工作者將獲得來自Project WET ,Project WILD和NWF資源的免費課程.

Increase your confidence in teaching climate change, gain access to climate lessons and utilize resources that can be used during Earth Week to celebrate Earth Day 50. This professional development is free, self-paced and will cover topics including weather and climate, phenology, extreme weather, biodiversity and oceans. Co-created and hosted by the National Wildlife Federation's Eco-Schools USA, Project WET and Project WILD.
