Grammar is important but be viewed as difficult and bored. In addition, in the EFL learning environment, teachers taught Prescriptive grammar or Pedagogical grammar but we forgot English is a world language which has African American English, British English, and some dialects in different areas. Thus, while teaching Grammar, we should remind our kids: Variation doesn't means wrong and language should be flexible.

However, as language instructors, we tried to introduce the best usage of the most Standard English that written or spoken by writers; meanwhile, we should know that there are grammar from different aspects like descriptive grammar, Rhetorical grammar and critical grammar.

  Tedd Arnold 

Born in Elmira, New York, Tedd grew up in a family of six with three brothers. His family lived on a farm in Pennsylvania for several years then returned to Elmira until Tedd was ten years old. Tedd's first art lessons in an abandoned dentist's office over the Happy Hour pool hall eventually led to a fine arts degree from the University of Florida.

The inspiration to begin writing and illustrating for children came from my wife, Carol. As a kindergarten teacher, she collected picture books. I was attracted to their colorful pages and the way the words and pictures played with each other, much like the captioned cartoons I had drawn when I was young. 

The first son, Walter, inspired his breakthrough picture book, No Jumping on the Bed! His second son, William, stars in No More Water in the Tub!, a sequel to his first book. Tedd's current Fly Guy series has twice received the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award Honor.

Quiddler  - For 1 to 8 players.

The goal is to arrange all the cards in your hand into one or more words. The number of cards dealt increases each round – starting with three cards and ending with 10 cards. High score wins, so use your high point letters and Quiddler’s unique double letter cards — but don’t get caught with them in your hand!

Aim for the bonuses—one for the most words and one for the longest word! It’s great for families and parties! 

Lantern Festival falls on Jan 15 of Chinese Lunar Calendar and it's the end of the Chinese New Year.  In Taiwan, we do a lot of activities for celebrating Lantern Festival. One of the most famous activities is the Sky Lantern in Pingxi, New Taipei City. 

In this class, we are going to introduce the origin of Sky Lantern in Pingxi, some wishes you can write on the sky lantern and make a sky lantern on your own. Here we go!!
