人生很幸運能擔任２０１９－２０２０的ＦＵＬＢＲＩＧＨＴＥＲ並且分發到喬治亞南方大學服務，我們村離ＪＡＭＥＳ　ＤＥＡＮ　居住的小鎮開車只要一個小時，所以村裡的圖書館每年會請　ＪＡＭＥＳ　ＤＥＡＮ　到圖書館演講，簽書。

 JAMES DEAN 

James Dean’s art has sold in more than ninety galleries and shops across the United States. He has devoted his paintings to Pete the Cat for fifteen years and has turned his natural love for cats into his life’s work. In 2004, Kimberly and James Dean sat down at their kitchen table to work on a children's book together. They left corporate jobs in the late nineties (James was an electrical engineer; Kimberly worked in the press office of the governor of Georgia) to pursue their passion for art, and they have experienced a life made up of strange and wonderful coincidences ever since. Their dream has finally become a reality with the release of the new Pete the Cat book, Pete's the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses. James published his first adult book, The Misadventures of Pete the Cat, a history of his artwork, in 2006. He illustrated his first self-published children’s book, Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes, in 2008, and the follow-up book, Pete the Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes, in 2011. Pete the Cat has brought magic into their lives. They work in side-by-side studios in Savannah, sharing their home with five cats and Emma the pug. I engaged in my community in many ways such as culture activity, lecture and volunteer.

First of all, the first festival we did was "Confucius' Birthday" or "Teacher's Day".  In class, we gave a simple introduction of Confucius and his book "LUNYU" and then we did the activity called, "Ba zhihui mao". I attached many Confucius words on the ox's tail and students took turns to pull out one of them which symbolized you took some wisdom from Confucius. Off class, we served a hot tea to all the teachers who devoted themselves in Education.

Second, we had Chinese Conversation Hour once a week.  I taught them how to use simple Chinese to do self-introduction, make an order in restaurant, to say different jobs and positions. In addition, I seized the chance to introduce my country. I wrote a poem to show Taiwan in various aspect. Also, I combined Board game into my Chinese Teaching which make the class more fun and interesting meanwhile students can use sentences actively.

The workshop was help by the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Southern university, and Savannah-Chatham county public schools. 

It is a collaborative workshop which means unconference.  An unconference is a spontaneous discussion-based gathering of educators in which there is no presider or leader; rather participants will actively engage with one another and share strategies for what works and what does not work when helping students acquire a second language. Participants will determine the day's topic during the online registration process. 

During the discus, there will be a facilitator who will ask questions and invite participants to express their opinions. Also, there is a recorder who recorded the summary of the discussion.

教育部已於108/109 年補助八所師資培育之大學設置全英語教學研究中心。全英語教學課程優先研究的領域科目，中等學校以英文、數學為主。國民小學以數學領域、自然科學領域、藝術與人文領域為主。
