We are going to learn How to use position words to show something's location or an object's position. Also,  we are going to learn the sentence pattern, "Where is it?" Here we go. 

  positon words 

 GEOGRAPHY 

在__东边 = in the east  / 在__西边 = in the west   / 在__南边 = in the south  / 在__北边 = in the north    

 practice: world map 

1. teacher shows US map and make an example 

2. showed the Asia map and assigned a country. Invite students to make a sentence 

3. showed the Europe map and assigned a country. Invite students to make a sentence 

 PRACTICE

1. Find a country on the map

2. Find what is in its NSEW

3. MAKE 4 SENTENCES LIKE, 加拿大在美国的北边 and so on. 

4. PRESENTATION: present four sentences and OTHERS GUESS

 position of objects or people 

在前面 (zài qián miàn) = in front / 在后面 (zài hòu miàn) = behind / 在旁边 （Zài pángbiān ） = next to / 在中间 (Zài zhōngjiān ) = in the middle of

在上面 (zài shàng miàn) = on top/above / 在下面 (zài xià miàn) = below/under / 在里面 (zài lǐ miàn) = inside 在外面 (zài wài miàn) = outside

在左边 (zài zuǒ bian) = on the left / 在右边 (zài yòu bian) = on the right

 Board Game 

1.  four to six players.

2. each player have to draw his / her role on a piece of paper. ( Don't forget to write a Chinese name on it. 

3. players take turns to ask question, "___, 你在哪儿？" and the player rolls the dice and answer, "我在——————"

 when goes to Noun, you have to make up a sentence. 

4. When you arrived, "WHAT A MESS", the one can roll the dice to decide whom has the right to move other player's position. ( 123 go backward. 456 choose one player to move his / her position.) 

5. when you arrived at start again, you have to roll the dice again. EVEN NUMBER WINS. ODD NUMBER KEEP GOING ON.
