National Library Week @ 我就喜歡這樣的妳

National Library Week April 19 to 25

本週是國際圖書館週，為了感謝圖書館員的辛苦，以及推廣圖書館利用的一週。

無論去到哪個國家，圖書館是我一定會排的一個小站，除了想看看各國不同的圖書擺放方式，也想看看圖書館的不同風景。

美國的圖書館扮演著重要的角色，增進親子情感，推廣兒童閱讀，扶助青少年家教等等。

本週各大圖書館都推出一系列的活動或是線上演說，有時間的話，可以多多參與。

本人的系上有舉辦為妳朗讀的線上活動，連續三天使用不同語言朗讀該國家的文學作品，本人覺得台灣也可以仿效看看，應該會有不錯的效果。

還可以融入地球日與母親節等節慶元素。

National Library Week (April 19 - 25, 2020) is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and library workers and to promote library use and support. From free access to books and online resources for families to library business centers that help support entrepreneurship and retraining, libraries offer opportunity to all. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and observed in libraries across the country each April. All types of libraries - school, public, academic and special - participate.

The theme for National Library Week 2020 is " Find Your Place at the Library."

WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK?

As for school : book fair / public events

Due tothe pandemic of covi-19, you may have a Virtual International Book day through Google Meet from April 19 to April 25.

Read a ___ for you Event : Students, faculty, or staff that are interested in participating read a short poem, a song, an essay, short story, fragment of a novel in the language they are learning or teaching. It would also be nice if people explain why they have chosen what they are reading.
