Stage make up : lean face

Continue thinking about specificity of makeup placement in relation to the bone structure under the skin - what story can YOUR bones tell when you apply highlight and shadow?

 procedure 

1.  Tie up all your hair and wash your face and keep it dry. If you have beard, you may shaved in case. 

2.  Moisturized your face with crème or oil. 

3. Apply concealer on the eye bag, pimple, and scar. （color corrective)

4.  Use sponge to put on foundation (all face) - match the skin color and apply powder to face

6. Contouring starting with shadow (dark brown) you have to test the color on your hand first, to see if it is too dark or too light.

7. In the demonstration, we use top-down method and the shadow color is dark brown. 

8.  Find the edge of your hairline on the forehead, and draw a line from the forehead to the eyebrow of both sides.

9. Use your hand to make the shadow extended to the temple of each side. 

10. Draw a line from the edge the the eyeframe till the side of nose. 

11. Use your hand to make the shadow extended to the side of the nose.

* (optional) if you want a mean and evil look, you may add shadow of the circle of your nose. 

12. Follow the upper eye bone and draw a semi-circle under it.

* (optional) if you want to look skinny, you may draw a line on the edge of the eye bag and draw another semi-circle along the cheek bone.

13. Draw a line on the cheekbone and use your hand to make the shadow.

14. Suck your mouth like a Japanese Geisha, draw two lines near the mouth.

15. Make a big smile and you will see nasolabial fold, draw a line on it.  

* (optional) if you want to have a puppy look, you may extended two lines from the lower lips and draw a circle on the chin. 

16. Find your jaw near the ear and draw a line that parallel your cheek bone

* (optional) Extended to neck: Draw two line along the trachea and use your hand to blend it.

17. Highlight your face: use highlight color 

18. Find the line on your forehead, draw two lines inside the shadow and use your hand to blend it. 

19. Draw a line on the bridge of your nose and nostril, and use your hand to blend it. 

20. Draw the line between your eyebrow and the shadow of your eye bone.

21. Draw a line above the edge of the eye bag and draw another semi-circle above the cheek bone.

22. Draw a line above your cheekbone and use your hand to blend it.

23. Draw a line inside of your nasolabial fold, and two lines inside the shadow of the chin. 

24. Draw a line above the shadow of the jaw

25. Draw a line in the middle of your neck, if indeed.

26. Use the foundation to cover your lips.

27. Use shadow color to fill in the middle of your upper and lower lips. 

28.  Apply powder to face. FINISHED
