I would like to share a grammar pedagogical activity that was suitable for EFL ( English as a Foreign Language) learner. 

 information 

Grammar point :  pronoun with be Verb 

Adapted in : adj / nationality / age /  

Language: target language ( English ) &  mother tongue ( speaker's native language) 

Learner's proficiency : Basic

 material: 

adj card: eight English words & eight tranlation words of mother tongue

function card: two STOP cards & two STAR cards

pronouns : I am / You are / She is / He is / It is / We are / They are 

 How to play 

four players 

 first time just practice 

each player will get a pronoun and five cards

player takes turns to show one card and make a sentence with his / her pronoun

for example, when the player's pronoun is "SHE" , showed "SAD" , the player had to say, "SHE IS SAD."

show the word and make a sentence with his / her pronuon 

 second time real game 

player takes turns to show one card and make a sentence with his / her pronoun

Time to hit the card

1. words in pair : one English and one Target Language

2. words in sandwich: the first one and the third one is a pair

 When one player hit the cards and he or she can take these cards and other players have to pass the pronoun to the right. 

 Lesson plan 

While you are teaching grammar, you can wrap it with games that makes grammar more fun.

After students are familiar with the pronoun, we use youtube to explain the rules.

students have to choose four different pronouns with different adj to make a feeling book. 

 material: 

take one A4 PAPER and Fold it into a book

teach students how to make the bookcover with booktitle and author

give studnets 10 to 15 minutes to finish the book 

each students have 1 minute to do the oral presentation of the book
