Today I would like to share the Adventure Education in Taiwan. There is a non-profit foundation called "CITY PEOPLE" which worked hard in the field of experiential learning and adventrue education. 

 Taiwan, a great place for Adventure Education

Taiwan, an Island on Pacific Ocean, has over than one hundred mountains that over 3000 meters high. We have plenty of water during summer time that is suitable for water activities. The following things you can do / expreience in Taiwan :

 Adventure Education for specific teenagers (10 to 18): x perceived freedom  x intrinsic motivation  

 

 

  Family outdoor trip : river tracing (40 $ ) 

 

  Life on Life Station: from a receiver to a giver 

 

  Training of Experiential Learning instructor:  (100$ for two days training )

 Sunflower Girl

Girls with deviant behavior, or girls who had experienced family violence or sexual asssults and can't live with her family.

City people not only offered a HOME for them, but also designed a series of lessons to adjust their behavior. City people hire instructors to accompany with sunflower girls. One instructor will accomapany with 4 girls. They have to live together like a new family until they could live on their own.
