IB Study Plan

As an experienced English teacher with over ten years of teaching experience, my teaching philosophy is centered around student-centered learning and the incorporation of new knowledge and materials into my classroom. I believe that each student is unique and learns differently, and as such, I strive to create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
To achieve this, I utilize a variety of teaching methods, including project-based learning, collaborative learning, and experiential learning, to cater to the diverse needs of my students. Furthermore, I constantly adapt my teaching style to integrate new concepts, such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), into my curriculum to ensure my students receive a relevant and holistic education. In addition, I am a firm believer in using technology as a tool to enhance learning. By integrating technology into my teaching methods, I create a dynamic learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and engagement. Ultimately, my goal as an educator is to create an atmosphere of learning and growth where students feel empowered to take ownership of their education and develop the skills necessary to succeed in today's rapidly changing world.
Besides, The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a globally recognized and respected education program that has become increasingly popular among high school students around the world. As an aspiring educator, I believe that taking the IB course will provide me with numerous benefits that will be advantageous to my personal and professional growth.
Firstly, following the global trend of pursuing an IB education is one of the main reasons why I want to take this course. In today's rapidly changing world, having a broad perspective and a global mindset is essential for success. By studying the IB program, I will be exposed to a diverse range of subjects and cultures, which will broaden my worldview and prepare me to become a global citizen.
Secondly, taking the IB course will be the best use of my time and resources at the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). NTNU is renowned for its excellence in teacher education, and taking the IB program will allow me to maximize my learning experience while studying at this prestigious institution. The program will provide me with a rigorous academic curriculum and hands-on learning opportunities that will prepare me for the challenges of teaching in the future.
Lastly, I believe that taking the IB course will help me become a better educator. The program's emphasis on critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and independent research aligns with my teaching philosophy, and I am eager to learn more about how to implement these principles in the classroom. Additionally, the program's focus on developing students' communication and collaboration skills will help me foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
In conclusion, pursuing the International Baccalaureate course is a valuable investment in my future as an educator. It will help me develop a global perspective, maximize my learning experience at NTNU, and prepare me to become a skilled and effective teacher.

I believe the IB program is the right educational system that I would like to explore in the following years. The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a rigorous educational program that aims to develop well-rounded and globally-minded individuals. It offers four educational programs for students aged 3 to 19, including the Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), Diploma Program (DP), and Career-related Program (CP). IB emphasizes a holistic education that focuses on developing critical thinking, communication, and intercultural understanding. Students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning and engage in inquiry-based activities that challenge them to think deeply and reflect on their learning. IB is recognized worldwide and offers students the opportunity to gain a global perspective and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

In conclusion, my study plan for completing the remaining four professional courses and five educational courses in the IB program is focused on consistent and diligent effort. I will allocate dedicated study time for each subject, set achievable goals, and regularly review my progress. By staying organized, prioritizing my studies, and maintaining a growth mindset, I am confident that I will successfully complete the IB program and achieve my academic goals.
