• Bachelor’s degree

You must turn in all keys (front door, bedroom and mailbox), fobs, payment for any balances owed, and your forwarding address by noon on that date. Be sure to lock your bedroom and apartment door once you’re done. Prior to move-out, all late charges, delinquent rents and outstanding fees for damages must be paid. You will be required to clean your apartment and you will be responsible for payment of damages assessed against you.

 Basic cleaning tips 

The following general guidelines must be completed in your apartment prior to check-out, but are notlimited to:  
• Remove your belongings from the apartment, patio/balcony and storage room, if applicable.
• Remove all trash and dispose of properly.

Sleeping Clinic 

Have you had sleeping problems ? For example, You can't fall asleep at night or you sleep too much? GSU counseling center offered a sleeping workshop for people who have sleeping problems or people who want to know more about sleeping. Let's check out.

 How to reduce food waste and recycle oil

The world is changing and Americans can make a change in their life, too. It's hard to convinced Americans about global warming or climate change. However, you can invite them to make a little change of their daily lives for the sustainability, for the next generations.  

GreenFest is a good way to promote "Sustainability" by many experienced DIY boothes, real reasearches, and fresh vegetables.

WHAT IS GREENFEST ? 

Statesboro-Bulloch County Library offered different activities, workshops, and lecture for kids and parents to work togehter to learn. In the US, teachers do care about you, and they are not only teach you knowledge but they will be your friends and coach forever. I think that was the best example of holistic educaiton. I joined one workshop that taught teacher teaching mindfulness in the classroom and i think i learn a lot from the instructor. Thanks

If you are a yoga lover, there are some places that you can doing yoga in Statesboro.

 RAC of GSU 

The Hurricane season is from June to November in the southeast of American. People who are living in the coast of southeast must facing lots of inconveniences during the Hurricane season. I visited in US in 2019 and met the monster Hurricane Dorian which caused a great damage of BAHAMA though the main land of US is okay but we still have three to four days off due to the curricane. 

  where can i follow the hurricane? 

You can go to the National Hurricane Center and Central Pacific Hurricane Center. You can see many datas in detail.

I love library for many reasons like it's free, it's quiet, and it opened for everybody and one of my dream is that I would like to see the libraries all around the world. Thus, today i am going to show you the local library in Statesboro, Georgia, US.

 Statesboro-Bulloch County Library 

how to get there ?  CAR / BIKE / WALK ONLY

Statesboro is a small town and there is no public transportation so either you have to drive a car, ride a bike, or take a walk. It's located in the city center so you still can walk by other places, like city hall, theater and so on. (There is a parking lot for readers.) 

The university plays an important role in students’ lives for the following reasons. First, free textbooks. The textbook is very expensive in the US so either you can borrow one from the library or buy a second-hand book from ABE books or Amazon. In addition, you can go to the official website of the library where you can find some eBooks or borrow some books from other universities. Second, University Library runs for 24 hours during the weekday. Library has computers, scanners, and discussion areas for students to use. Finally, one of the best thing is that the university Library offered writing center, which can help to detect your writing problems.  

 The university Library is amazing and  I  am going to do a simple introduction of ZACH S. HENDERSON LIBRARY. 

THE HISTORY OF GSU LIBRARY

Who is Zach S. Henderson? Why the library in Statesboro campus named after him? 

GEORGIA SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY has three campus and the biggest one is statesboro campus. However, the transportation in Statesboro is not that convenience but there are some ways for you to transfer in the campus.

Southern Express runs throughout the Statesboro Campus during classes, final exams, football game days and Spring commencement.  Southern Express does not run when classes are not in session, during campus holidays or between semesters. There is no regular transit service during the weekend.

If you are going to study or work in the GSU, you would have a different viewpoint toward American. GSU is in the southeast of American and the people in the south of the America is nice and warm. They greets with each other and if you are polite enough they are willing to help you. there are a few places that you can visit while you are in the GSU, The center of wildlife education and 

how do you get here ? 

The center of wildlife education is located in the Geogia Southern University, statesboro campus. It's near the S main street in Statesboro. if you come in from one of the entrance near super 8 hotel, you walk in amd turn right and notice the board that writing center of wildlife education.  

how much is the entry fee (Admission fee) ? 

Georgia Southern University  is located in the state of Georgia. It's has three campus, from biggest to smallest, Stateboro campus, Armstrong campus in Savanah, Liberty campus in Hinesville. 

Stateboro campus : It's the oldest and largest campus spans 900acres in Statesboro. the campus is home to more than 20000 students. 

Armstrong campus: a 268-acre arboretum campus just a minutes away from Savanah hostorical downtown where have a short drive from beaches of Tybee Island. the campus offers more than 100 degree programs and host more than 6000 students. 

Liberty campus: the campus is located just a stone's throw from Fort Stewart,  a census-designated place and United States Army post in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is equipped to serve local and military-affiliated students. 

Before the semester starts, the chair of the Foreign Language Department will have a Pedgagogy Training meeting with all the teaching assistants and FLTAs. He talks about what does he want us to achieve in a language teaching class. He uses playing baseball games for am example. he doesn't want us to explain where is baseball from or the history of it instead he wants us to teach Students how to play baseball so that they can play on their own. Then, he talks about ACTFL in detail and offers us some typical advice to us.

What is culture shock ?

Culture shock is an experience a person may have when one moves to a cultural environment which is different from one's own; it is also the personal disorientation a person may feel when experiencing an unfamiliar way of life due to immigration or a visit to a new country, a move between social environments, or simply transition to another type of life.

文化衝擊是個無線循環曲線的過程，剛到一個環境充滿著興奮感，日子一久就感覺跟社會格格不入，開始吹毛求疵，日子久了對自己的不適應做了調整，已融入當下的社會，最後接受當下，雖然不能完全理解文化，但是能夠試著去了解並接受。
