用 Gemini GEM快速生成英語考卷
出紙本測驗是形成性評量的重要方式之一,但對英語老師而言,設計考題往往需要花費大量時間與心力。隨著新北市提供教師使用 Google AI Pro,我們可以開始運用 Gemini 的 Gem 機器人模型,快速生成符合教學需求的題目。我自己的做法是先使用 ChatGPT 說明想要的題型與內容,請它生成對應的 prompt,再貼到 Gemini 的 Gem 中使用。整體流程我會分成兩個模組:一個是「文字版」,方便我進行修改與調整;另一個是「圖片版」,可以直接透過平板派發任務給學生使用,大幅提升教學效率與彈性。

以學習理論為基礎之英語題型設計
一、將單字置於有意義的句子中,強化情境連結與理解
在英語詞彙學習中,將單字放入有意義的句子與情境中,有助於學生理解詞彙的實際用法,而非僅停留於孤立記憶。根據 Michael Lewis 所提出的詞彙教學觀點(Lexical Approach),語言學習應重視詞彙在語境中的運用,而非單字的孤立記憶(Lewis, 1993)。此外,語境化學習(contextualized learning)亦被證實能幫助學習者建立語意連結,提升長期記憶效果。因此,透過句子與生活情境結合的單字練習,能使學生更容易理解並應用所學詞彙。
二、開放式畫圖與回答任務:促進意義建構與主動表達
學習單中加入開放式畫圖與回答任務,符合 Lev Vygotsky 社會文化理論中所強調的「意義建構」觀點。學生透過圖像補充與語言輸出,將個人經驗轉化為語言表達,有助於深化學習理解(Vygotsky, 1978)。同時,此類任務亦呼應以學生為中心的學習取向,使學生從被動作答轉向主動創作與表達,提升其參與度與學習動機。
三、閱讀理解與選擇題:培養語言理解與資訊處理能力
在學習單中加入短篇閱讀與選擇題,有助於培養學生的語言理解與資訊處理能力。根據 David Rumelhart 的基模理論(Schema Theory),閱讀理解是讀者將新資訊與既有知識結構進行連結與整合的歷程(Rumelhart, 1980)。透過主題相關的短文,學生能活化既有經驗,並在理解文本的過程中建構意義;而選擇題則可協助教師檢核學生的理解程度,亦提供學生自我檢視的機會。此外,適當難度的閱讀任務亦能促進學生在理解輸入(comprehensible input)中的語言習得,提升整體閱讀能力。
