We will have a week holidays for Thanksgiving and Florida is my top choice to visit. Here is my Thanksgiving Itinerary.  The main transportation is Greyhound, and uber. 

 Some tips about taking Greyhound: 

 If you buy a ticket and you want to change the time, you need to pay extra fee. Thus, either you can buy a ticket two or three days before the trip or you have to double check with the time.

 Be aware of the time. It's normal to have only two buses a day from one city to another, so you have to double check the time schedule. You can download the Greyhound app and you can see the time table and book the ticket through app. Also, 2:00 am means two o'clock in the morning if you miss it you have to buy another ticket. I will be arrived at the station 30 minutes before departure. 

 Watch all your belongings all the time. YOU ARE IN THE US. 

 

  Thanksgiving Itinerary. 

 Day 1 : 11/22 Greyhound  34$ SAVANNAH,GA towards JACKSONVILLE,FL

It took two hours and fifteen minutes from Savannah to Jacksonville. When you arrived at Jacksonville, you can call a uber or walk to your hostel. Jacksonville is the biggest city in Florida and it was decorated with art. I really like the city where is full of art.  

Sleep @ Scottish Inn Downtown Jacksonville ( cheap but not recommend ) 

 

 Day 2 :11/23  Greyhound from Jacksonville to Saint Augustine  $15 

Morning city walk : Jacksonville Library ( Highly recommended : FREE with clean toilet and water fountain ) 

There is a park and a mordern ary museum near the Jacksonville Library.

 Day 3 : 11/24 Saint Augustine City tour

I really like Saint Augustine, you may leave two full days here. The city is samll and you can visit main attraction on foot. 

Go to 

 1.  St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum ( TICKET 12.95$) 

2. walk by the outside of Believed or not museum (Outside is FREE) 

3.  Castillo de San Marcos (15$) 

4.  Flagler College (FREE: the lobby and the fountain )

5.  Lightner Museum 

6. Cathedral of Saint Augustine 

7.  The Oldest Wooden School House Historic Museum ($5)

 8. The St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine ( FREE) 

9. Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park ($18) 

10.  The Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios (FREE)

 Day  4 : 11/25 Greyhound From Saint Augustine to Orlando  $19

It's very expensive to visit Universal Studio ($ 218 two day ticket ) but it's really worthy. You can prebook the ticket in kkday.

 Day  6: 11/27  Greyhound from Orlando via Tampa  to Crystal River

Tampa is beautiful and nice but it's pity that I don't spend much time here. I visited University of Tampa and walked by the art museum.

It took about ten minutes from Crystal River Greyhound station to the hotel by car. And you can enjoy your time in the hotel. You can rent a free bike to see the beautiful city or you can just walk around to enjoy the beautiful town.  There is an Adventure Center located in the hotel, you can book tours from the counter or through its website.  

 

 Day 7 : 11/28  Swim with Manatees tour ( Thanksgiving) 

It took about 75 to 80 dollars to swim with the manatees. Everything is included. All you have to bring is your cloth and swim suit. The best time is 7:00 in the morning but if you are afraid of cold, you can choose 10:00 im the morning.

 Day 8: 11/29 Greyhound from crystal river to Tampa (Black Friday)

I choose a hotel that near the airport and there is a mall nearby.

It took 10 minutes from the hotel to the airport and the hotel offered free shuttle bus. All you have to do is to tell the time you want to take the shuttle bus and wait in the lobby ten minutes before the departure. 

 

 Day 9: 11/30 Depart from Tampa  Arrived Savannah @ 15:31 ( 217.5$)
