Cool English 為教育部委託臺師大經營的平台，目前承接了很多計畫，其中一個就是偏鄉英語學伴計畫。簡單來說，就是招募英語好的大學生，以線上課程的方式幫偏鄉的學生做英語方面的課業輔導，不但可以訓練線上授課能力同時也有小薪水，提供給大學生。目前計畫推薦的平台是COOL ENGLISH，當然大學生也可以自己設計課程，或是詢問媒合學校老師是否對於課程內容有相關建議 。除了線上教學，大學學伴，一年要進修18個小時，學習各方面的相關知能等等。
國立臺灣師範大學受教育部國民及學前教育署委託，辦理「以遠距教學提升學生英語能力暨陪伴英語學習計畫」，協助消弭城鄉教育落差，以及照顧偏鄉弱勢學生受教權益。透過召募大學英語學伴方式，提供偏遠地區國小學生課後加強英語，並以每週固定時間，與3人1組的視訊方式進行互動。111學年度第1學期共有211位大學伴投入服務全臺77所小學，陪伴837位偏鄉學童。臺師大英語系陳浩然教授表示，大學伴以遠距教學陪伴偏鄉國小學童，結合創意教法，不但獲得眾多學校校長和老師們肯定，更使偏鄉學童們能深度體驗英語教學，開拓學習視野。

透過cool ebot 作活動設計，感覺更貼近真實語料，而且如果透過 text to speech 功能，轉換成語音，會更貼近真實。學生可以聽然後做口說，也是不錯的。
