新北市有許多英語相關政策,試圖讓文化刺激少的孩子一個機會,其中我最喜歡的就是ENGLISH WONDERLAND 翻譯成英速魔法學院,運作的機制在五天四夜或三天兩夜的學習旅程中,有專業的外師上課,輔以符合生活情境的語句練習,讓孩子在短短的生活中,浸潤在英語環境之中。此外,孩子的日常生活起居也不用擔心,英速聘有中文老師,分成早中晚三班,24小時扮演著照顧孩子生活起居,心情調適的輔導員

比起外面營隊至少五六千起跳,新北市政府只收您3400$,而且經濟弱勢學生還可以減免學費,所以我大推薦大家可以搶搶看暑期的營隊,五天四夜,包吃包住包外師上課,正當外面營隊都喊價近萬元的時候,那麼好康,大家快來搶名額。

營隊的目的除了合作學習英文,放手讓孩子獨立也是家長重要的課題,每個孩子都是家長的心頭肉,但我們無法保護他們一輩子,請讓他們慢慢地學習獨立,學習與人合作,共同享受這幾天沒有家長叮嚀的時光。

1.營隊實施方式 & 晚上住宿

平日梯隊參加資格為本市公立國小五年級在學學生,每梯次為期三天兩夜,完全免費如報名額滿將採抽籤方式

暑寒假參加資格為本市公私立國小四五六年級在學學生, 暑寒假。每梯次為期五天四夜,均採宿營模式。

興福校區的三樓是宿舍區,採通鋪式,男女分開,宿舍最大的亮點就是他的天花板是使用螢光漆彩繪而成的星空,晚上全暗時,開宿舍螢光燈就可以看見整片星空,格外浪漫唷~。

2.報名費用 & 中午用餐

含教材、食宿、交通、保險及課程費用等,計新臺幣3,400元整,正取之經濟弱勢家庭學生全額免費。扣完食宿跟交通還有外師的薪水,開英速魔法學院真的沒有賺錢呀!!!虧本的生意只有新北市政府做的了。

比較偏遠的校區都是有廚房的,像是: 興福,闊瀨,乾華等等。中午用餐採自助式,吃多少拿多少,不能造成浪費。餐點: 兩個小主菜,兩道青菜,加上蛋白質,以及湯品跟水果,相當符合孩子營養的需求。用餐前,大家會一起唱吃飯歌,然後大家一起開動。用餐完畢學生必須要自己到外面倒廚餘,然後到洗手台自己洗好碗筷,然後把乾淨的碗筷歸位,也算是一種生活常規的教育以及對自己負責任的態度。此外,興福校區有一台廚餘機,可以處理骨頭之外的廚餘,處理好的廚餘可以提供給興福校區的菜園施肥等功用。

如何抵達興福國小 @ 新北市林口區下福里20鄰10-1號

這裡的學生有交通車但一般民眾只能自己開車了唷,或是包計程車。行車路線: 南下林口第二交流道 -> 右轉文化北路 -> 左轉縣道108 -> 途經南勢國小7-Eleven右轉77-1 -> 左轉縣道106 -> 抵達興福國小 (2.5K處)

從板橋到林口大約半小時(走快速道路接高速公路),再從林口三井outlet開車上去大約半小時,但是因為是縣道或是鄉道,所以道路都很小一條,山路彎彎曲曲且岔路多,一不小心就會迷路。所以如果有接駁車就搭接駁車吧。

  英語相關課程

我超級愛興福的老師,每個人都超級棒棒棒,各司其職在適當的位置發光發熱。以一個營隊來說,每個老師會上三堂課,每堂課會有不同的主題,因為是英語老師研習,所以恰巧上到其中幾位老師的課程,在此做分享: (each teacher in Xinfu wonderland is sooo amazing and wonderful)

there are six kind of food types and each group has to write at least five food in each categories. they can draw a picture and write a word within two minutes.

rules:

1. ask one student to roll the dice on the dood mat and others have to ask : do you like food + number  ? For example, student rolls 3 and the dice is on the ice cream so the quesiton is Do you like egg ice cream ? the student answers and takes turns.

群體小隊活動

當學生送到興福校區的時候,學生會被打散到不同的小隊,讓學生有拓展人際關係以及培養互助合作的小隊概念。每個學生都配有一個學習夥伴,通常是程度好的搭配學習較慢的,相輔相成,讓孩子更快進入到英語學習的狀態。在興福有兩個全校動起來的大活動,一個是類似定項活動的the amazing race , 一個是讓各小隊在班級互相競賽闖關的活動 head 2 head。 在此做簡單的介紹

the amazing race (定向活動)

定向活動總共有八個關卡,每個小隊會有一個captain 負責拿clue, 一個navigator 負責拿map 指引方向,其他的就是 crew 要團隊合作,完成關卡才能前進下一關。小組每到一個關卡,關主都要嚴格要求所有的學生必須要用英文念出challenge,寓教於樂,念完之後關主會複習簡單的單字,就開始闖關。以下簡單介紹八個關卡

1.  food station

name the food and spell three of them. distinguish healthy and unhealthy food.  put the word that t said back to the box.

when the team finished three missions, they can get the clue. 

2. animal station

name the animal and place the animal into correct continent that belong to and they can get the clue. 

3. Hawaii station

go fishing the things you can find in Hawaii and name it by using the fishing pole and they can get the clue. 

4. bowling station

each one takes truns to roll the ball to knock down the bowling pins. ( the distance between bowling pins and the player is three meter. ) each team has to knock down at least thirty bowling pins and they can get the clue. 

5. team chant station

each team has an unique chant, they have to make some gestures and present it pretty loud and energetic two times and they can get the clue. take eagle for an example.

6. South Africa  station

each team member has to work together to complet the jigsaw puzzle of South Africa flag and name all the colors on the flag and they can get the clue. 

7. golf station

each team member has to take turns to use putter to punch the golf ball into the hole and they can get the clue. 

8. basketball station

each team member has to line up and takes turns to shoot the basketball into the basket. each team has to shoot at least five shots and they can get the clue. 

  head 2 head  (小隊闖關活動)

小隊闖關活動在大餐廳簡單講解完規則之後,並將每個小隊員編好號碼之後,每個小隊會輪流到四間教室闖兩個關卡。採兩個小隊battle 模式,一號對一號,二號對二號,每一個人都會玩到遊戲,兩隊相互競賽後,贏的小隊得分。小隊進到教室後,會依照小隊排成兩排,在遊戲開始之前,關主都會複習等一下會使用到的單字,讓學生在闖關的過程中,就把英文學起來了。

關卡一 SWITCHROO

桌上會有兩個碗,一個碗裝四個紅球,一個碗裝四個籃球,學生必須使用筷子將這兩碗球互換。完成 把手放頭上說 I AM DONE.

關卡二 WATER PONG

兩小隊各有一張桌子,桌子上有一個碗,裡面有四棵兵乓球,兩隊的球是不同顏色的。中間有放一個大碗,裡面裝少許的水,學生必須拿出碗中的兵乓球,在自己桌上彈跳一次後,先進中間桌子碗的學生獲勝。

關卡一 RAPID FIRE

兩隊派人到中間的桌子拿鬆緊帶,彈射一公尺外的寶特瓶,先擊落的獲勝,結束這回合。

關卡二  PARCHIGO

柏青哥,桌上有一個小盤子,小盤子上面有兩顆球,學生必須將球擊到轉盤後,自由落下,下面會有分數,分數較高者獲勝。(這個遊戲就是考驗你的運氣啦~~~。

關卡一 BULLEYE

兩隊分站於教室的兩角,中間有一個標的x號,學生可以ROLL OR THROW THE BEANBAG,每人四球的機會,愈靠近標的x號符號的人獲勝,

關卡二 TORNADO

這有點像是沙漏的概念,但是寶特瓶裡裝的是不同顏色的珠珠,每一個小隊先派四個人上場,他們必須要把位於寶特瓶底部的珠珠利用搖滾或旋轉的方式,全部弄到另外一個寶特瓶,這樣的動作再重複一次,完成的人蹲下,然後小組全部先蹲下的人獲勝。

關卡一 SPEED STACK

這是有學過疊杯的人的關卡。每一個小隊先派四個人上場,每個人的桌上有15個杯子,你必須以五四三二一的順序,依序疊成一個金字塔,然後再收回原本的杯子。完成的人雙手放頭上,然後小組先全部手放頭上的人獲勝。

關卡二 MOVE IT UP

這是有學過疊杯的人的關卡。每一個小隊先派四個人上場,每個人的桌上有26個杯子,其中有一個杯子是有做過記號的,也就是不同顏色的杯子。學生必須一個一個將底部的杯子往上疊,讓黃色的疊杯跑到最下層,完成的人雙手放頭上,然後小組先全部手放頭上的人獲勝。

 

由於興福有最強大的團隊,所以我非常喜歡他們無論是工作氛圍,外師的態度等等,都讓我讚許有佳。感謝這些外師給予興福的一切。而我們在經歷了這些課程之後,也該反思我們該如何把英語教得更生活化。讓學生可以運用。
