英文為「Department of Chinese as a Second Language」，授予之學位名稱為文學碩士（Master of Arts，M. A.）

本系研究生須修滿 32 學分並完成畢業論文始得畢業。其中必修科目共二科 2 學分，另須從 「語言」、「文化」、「學習」、「教學」四大課群各選修一門。其餘至少自由選修本系選 修科目達 6 學分，修業科目表如附表。修業若欲至系外或校外選修課程計入畢業學分者， 需經指導教授同意，尚未有指導教授者，需經系主任同意始得承認。
